I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  1. Make a state (or county, that is better) average for that year for the temperature.

For those who need specific data under a time crunch and don't have a database to consult.

  2. Correct your web-page metadata! travel not ravel

The meta data is incorrect and as a result your Google description states "The definitive source for ravel and vacation weather averages and normals for your holiday journey." Strangely, I did not find any information about an early 20th century composer on your site ;)

  3. Love city comparison chart! Please add humidity parameter too - and more cities on page. Thanks!

I love your page which allows comparison of various weather parameters for two cities. It would be very nice if we could also compare relative humidity for each city throughout the year. It would also be nice if we could have two parameters on the graph at the same time for both cities - say temperature and humidity. Would also be nice if we could do more than two cities at once. Regardless, thanks for making the city comparison available - it's great!

  4. Correct the data on Warsaw, Poland

Depending on reference periods, summer average maxima are too low by 1.5-2.5 degrees C. Extreme maxima are too low for June and July.

  6. Include a note to explain the meaning of "Average High Temperature"

    Hello,

Congratulations on your work. Unfortunately, there is no definition of "Average High Temperature" (same with "Low"). Is it the average of the daily maxima? which would mean you select the maximum each day, and then average over all days? It would be good to add a footnote with that definition.

    Thanks.

  12. Check average monthly temperature data vs avg low and avg high

Love this site! I'm a weather geek. I've come across many cities that seem to have average temperature errors. Look at Ferndale, California as an example. The Average Temperature data doesn't foot with Average Low and Average High Temperature data. Can the Average Temperature data be updated to be a calculated field based on Avg Lo and Avg Hi data? That would help reconcile.

  13. Fix your website so that when I tell it farenheit, it never ever gives me Centigrade again.

Keep my choice for Farenheit only temperatures permanent. Stop changing it back to Centigrade the next time i open your website. Also, when i change to farenheit, change all of it to farenheit including the daily temperatures which you leave in centigrade with no way to change. totally useless for me and most Americans.

  15. Visual Search on Map

    Hi

I like the vacation planner idea.

I think it would be really helpful to visualize this search by having a world map with temperature, month and other variables as 'sliders'. Then we could see which parts of the world are desirable when the map changes, rather than a list of names that people may need to then look up on a map.

  16. review the climate classification for Irkutsk

Irkutsk seems to better match Dwc - Subarctic, because it does not have at least 3 cm (1.2 in) of precipitation each month, but is wetter in summer (w), and its warmest month is below 71.6°F (22°C) but has 1-3 months above 50°F (10°C) (c).

  18. correct the elevation or altitude of LaPorte,CO(5020 ft AMSL, NOT 7262 ft) and Bellevue, CO(5134 ft AMSL, NOT 9251 ft)

Your statements of elevation, or altitude above mean sea level(AMSL), are incorrect on some sites. The 2 sites mentioned are the most obvious incorrect situations. Thank you!

  19. Filter by Available Data Fields

It would be nice to be able to filter which cities show up on the map view by what data is available (i.e., only show cities with report relative humidity).
